How to Make Cheese Pizza

Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Cheese pizza. Children loves pizzas. Among all pizzas cheese pizzas are their favorite. Here it'a recipe for Cheese pizza. Means a pizza with lots of cheese. You may say it cheese burst pizza also.
Preparation time - 4 hours
Cooking time - 30 minutes
Serves - 4 person
Ingredients to make Cheese Pizza:

For dough:

1 cup self rising flour - refined flour 
3/4 tea spoon yeast
1/2 table spoon butter 
1/2 tea spoon sugar
1/2 tea spoon salt
3/4 cup Luke warm water


For Pizza Sauce:

1 1/2 cup tomato pulp
1/2 cup finely chopped tomato
4 table spoon tomato ketch up
4 tea spoon oil
2 finely chopped onion
2 tea spoon crushed garlic
2 tea spoon red chilly powder
4 tea spoon sugar
1 tea spoon chilly flacks
1 tea spoon oregano
2 tea spoon corn flour
250 gram grated cheese
Salt to taste

For cheese stuffing:

200 gram cheese spread
2 table spoon milk
(keep the mixture in refrigerator.)

For topping:

150 gram process cheese
100 gram mozzarella cheese 


2 tea spoon milk

Method to make Cheese Pizza:

For dough:
  • Mix sugar and yeast in Luke warm water, keep a side covered for 10 minutes.
  • Sift flour with salt and add butter to it. Make a soft dough from yeast water. Cover with wet cloth and give rest for 3 to 4 hours.
  • After that knit the dough for 5 minutes with the help of dry refined flour.
  • Make 2 balls from the dough. One of bigger size than another.
  • Roll a thin rotti from small ball. and medium thick rotti from the bigger one. (you can use plastic sheet to roll pizza base.)
  • Now take a greased and dusted baking tray and place thicker one on it and prick it. 
  • spread cheese mixture over it and cover it with thin pizza base.
  • Seal properly and prick again.
For Cheese Pizza:
  • Spread pizza sauce over the base and again spread grated process cheese and mozzarella cheese over it. Sprinkle milk over cheese.
  • Bake the pizza for 20 to 25 minutes in 250`preheated oven.
  • After 10 minutes close upper grill.
  • Hot and creamy Cheese Pizza is ready to serve.
Method to make Pizza Sauce:


  • First of all heat oil in a pan then add ginger and garlic paste to it, add onion and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and tomato pulp cook for 2 minutes again.
  • Add tomato ketch up and all seasonings, mix properly.
  • Add corn flour slurry and grated cheese, cook for 2 minutes. 
  • Remove from flame and let it cool at room temperature.

How to make pizza

Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Pizza. As we all know pizza is one of the favorite recipe of children. So here it's a home made recipe for delicious soft base pizza.

Preparation time - 70 minutes

Cooking time - 25 to 30 minutes
Serves - 4 persons


Ingredients to make Pizza:


For Pizza Base:

500 gram self rising flour
2 1/2 table spoon butter
2 tea spoon dry yeast
1 tea spoon powder sugar
Salt to taste

For Pizza Sauce:

1 1/2 cup tomato pulp
1/2 cup finely chopped tomato
4 table spoon tomato ketch up
4 tea spoon oil
2 finely chopped onion
2 tea spoon crushed garlic
2 tea spoon red chilly powder
4 tea spoon sugar
1 tea spoon chilly flacks
1 tea spoon oregano
2 tea spoon corn flour
250 gram grated cheese
Salt to taste

For toppings:

1 capsicum - cube cut
1 onion - cube cut
1 tomato - cube cut (seed less)
1/4 tea spoon chilly flacks
1/4 tea spoon oregano
1 tea spoon butter
1 table spoon milk
200 gram process cheese
150 gram mozzarella cheese 
Black or green olives (opt.)

Method to make Pizza Sauce:

  • First of all heat oil in a pan then add ginger and garlic paste to it, add onion and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and tomato pulp cook for 2 minutes again.
  • Add tomato ketch up and all seasonings, mix properly.
  • Add corn flour slurry and grated cheese, cook for 2 minutes. 
  • Remove from flame and let it cool at room temperature.

Method to make Pizza Dough:

  • Sift refined flour and salt together.
  • Take some Luke warm water in a bowl and add dry yeast and powder sugar to it. Let it proven for 1o minutes.
  • Add butter. After that make a soft dough from that water - you can take some warm water if required. Cover it with wet cloth.
  • Keep the dough to warm place for 1 hour so that it can be proven properly.
  • After dough doubles make a pizza base from it, apply butter on a baking tray and put the pizza base over it. Prick it with fork.
  • Bake the base in a preheated oven for 5 minutes at 300` c. 
  • Remove the base from oven and spread pizza sauce over it. Spread grated process cheese and mozzarella cheese over it. Garnish with topping vegetables. 
  • Sprinkle milk over it and bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 300`c temp. 
  • Hot and mouthwatering Pizza is ready to serve. Serve it with fresh juice.
Tips:
  • For better result marinate onion, capsicum and tomato in salt, black pepper and 1/2 tea spoon oil for 15 minutes and grill for 10 minutes. Than use as topping. 

How to make Chinese Pakoda

Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Chinese Pakoda. Chinese recipes are very well known and mouth watering. Here it's a home made recipe for Chinese Pakodas. You may say that it's a fusion of Chinese and Indian food. Good option of different pakoda in this rainy season. They can be served as starter also.

Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - 10 minutes
Serves - 4 persons

Ingredients to make Chinese Pakoda:


2 capsicum - medium chopped
1 small carrot -medium chopped
2 onion -medium chopped
8 - 10 baby corn -medium chopped


For batter:


3/4 cup corn flour
3/4 cup refined flour
Salt to taste
1 tea spoon crushed garlic
1 tea spoon crushed ginger
1 table spoon vinegar
1 tea spoon soy sauce
1 1/2 table spoon red chilly sauce
Oil for frying


To Serve with:


Tomato sauce
Hot sauce
Red chilly sauce

Method to make Chinese Pakoda:

  • Mix all ingredients of better in a bowl.
  • Dip all vegetables one by one in it and dip fry in hot oil at medium flame.
  • When they turns to brown color remove from oil and drain in absorbent kitchen tissue.
  • Hot and tempting Chinese Pakodas are ready to serve. Serve them with hot sauce and chilly sauce or tomato sauce.

Ingredients to make Hot Sauce:


1 tea spoon crushed garlic
1 cup water
3 table spoon red chilly sauce
3 table spoon tomato ketch up
2 tea spoon corn flour
Salt to taste
1 tea spoon oil
1/2 tea spoon chilly flacks

Method to make Hot Sauce:

  • Heat oil in a small pan and fry garlic in it. Now add water, chilly sauce, tomato sauce and salt in it. After 1 minute add corn flour slurry to it. Let it thick at medium flame.
  • When Hot Sauce is ready add chilly flacks and mix well.

How to make Vermicelli Upma

Recipe by Naiya ShethLearn how to make Vermicelli Upma. Originally upma is a south Indian recipe. But if you are bored from same south Indian sooji upma here it's a home made recipe for vermicelli upma. This recipe is not only testy but healthy and quick also. There are two types of vermicelli one from sooji - semolina and the other from wheat, here we will take semolina vermicelli. The recipe contains vegetables and dry fruits also, so ideal recipe for break fast. 


Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - 10 minutes
Serves - 3 persons


Ingredients to make vermicelli Upma:


1 cup vermicelli 
1 onion finely chopped
1/2 small capsicum finely chopped
1 small carrot finely chopped
1 small tomato finely chopped
2 table spoon oil 
1 tea spoon mustard seeds
2 tea spoon urad daal
1 table spoon chopped cashew nut
8 - 10 raisins
Salt to taste
2 cup hot water
2 - 3 green chilies finely chopped
1 tea spoon lemon juice
8 - 10 curry leaves
4 - 5 french beans finely chopped 
2 table spoon boiled green peas


For garnishing:


Finely chopped coriander


To serve with:


Coconut chutney


Method to make Vermicelli Upma:

  • First of all take oil in a pan, add mustard seeds to it. When it crackles add urad daal, cashew nut, raisins, curry leaves and green chilly. When cashew and urad dal turns to light brown add onion and fry for 1 minute. 
  • Now add french beans, carrot and capsicum to it. Fry for 2 minutes. Now add green peas and vermicelli and roast till vermicelli turns light pink.
  • Now add hot water to it. Add salt and lemon juice. when water is about to  absorb add chopped tomato and cook for a single minute.
  • Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Hot and healthy Vermicelli upma is ready to serve. You can serve it with coconut chutney.

How to make bread - Bhel

Learn how to make Bhel from bread. Bhel is very well known known Indian fast food. Here in this recipe there is a little twist, it is made from bread in stead of puffed rice.

You can use multy grain bread or whole wheat bread also for healthier recipe. This recipe can be prepared for break fast also because it is easy and quick to make and very testy.



Preparation time - 5 minutes
Cooking time - 3 minutes

Ingredients to make Bread Bhel:


8 slices bread
2 table spoon boiled and chopped potatoes
2 table spoon chopped cucumber
2table spoon chopped onion
2 table spoons chopped tomato
2 table spoon chopped beat root 
3 -4 chopped green chilies
1/2 cup finely chopped coriander
8 - 10 nos. bhel puri
2 tea spoon lemon juice
1/2 cup sev
Salt to taste
1 tea spoon chaat masalo


For garnishing:


Pomegranate seeds 
Chopped coriander
Sev  
Bundi
Bhel puri


Method to make Bread Bhel:
  • Remove sides of bread and toast them in toaster. Cut them in small size and keep a side.
  • In another bowl mix potato,onion, tomato, beat root, chilly, salt, chaat masalo, lemon juice, roughly crushed bhel puri and sev together. Mix well.
  • Now add bread pieces in it and mix properly.
  • Garnish with coriander, bhel puri, sev and pomegranate seeds.
  • Quick and healthy Bread Bhel is ready to serve.
Tips:
  • crispy bread will enhance the taste of this recipe.
  • Always mix bread, sev and bhel puri at the time of serving only to avoid soggy bhel.
  • You can make it more healthy by adding sprouted beans.

Janmastami Special - Farali Samosa

Recipe by Naiya Sheth: Learn how to make Farali Samosa. Janmastami is the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna and is celebrated all over India. It is a celebration of eighth avtar of Lord Vishnu. This  religious festival is celebrated on astami of krishna paksh of shravan month according to the Hindu calender with great devotion and zeal. It is also known as Gokulashtami and KrishnaasthamiIn India Samosa's are very well known fast food. But at the time of fasts you can't have it. But with this home made recipe it will be possible to have Samosa during fast. So, enjoy Farali Samosa during this Janmastami.

Preparation time - 5 minutes
Cooking time - 15 minutes
Serves - 2 persons

Ingredients to make Farali Samosa:


For outer layer:


1 cup moraiya flour
1 tea spoon oil
Sindhav salt to taste
Oil for frying


For stuffing:


2 - 3 boiled potatoes
2 tea spoon oil
1/4 tea spoon cumin seeds
Sindhav salt to taste
3 - 4 green chilies - crushed
1/2 tea spoon red chilly powder
1/2 tea spoon lemon juice
1 table spoon sugar
1/2 tea spoon sesame seeds
1/4 tea spoon roasted cumin powder


To serve with:


Tomato sauce

Method to make Farali Samosa:


For outer layer:
  • Mix all the ingredients of outer layer and make a dough like rotti from it, keep a side covered.
For stuffing:
  • In a pan add oil and then add cumin seeds. When seeds crackles add sesame seed and green chilly, now add boiled potatoes and mix well. 
  • Add salt, cumin powder, lemon juice, red chilly powder and sugar to it.
  • Cook for 2 - 3 minutes. Remove from flame and sprinkle coriander to it. 
  • Let it cool at room temperature.
For Farali Samosa:
  • Make small balls from dough and roll a rotti from it. Divide it in to 2 parts and stuff potato stuffing in it. Wet the sides and make cone shaped samosas from it. Repeat the process for rest.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry samosa in it till light pink.
  • Drain them on a absorbent kitchen towel..
  • Hot and tangy Farali Samosas are ready to eat.
Tips:
  • Roll slightly thick rotty from the flour.
  • Fry samosa as soon as possible after making.

Janmastami Special - Sooji no Halwo

This  religious festival is celebrated on astami of krishna paksh of shravan month according to the Hindu calender with great devotion and zeal. It is also known as Gokulashtami and Krishnaasthami.

Another day of Jamastami is called palna. On the day of palna we are use to make Sooji no Halwo, as naivedya. This recipe is mouth watering. 


Preparation time - 5 minutes

Cooking time - 15 minutes
Serves - 4 persons


Ingredients to make Sooji no Halwo:


1 cup sooji - semolina
1 cup sugar
1 cup ghee
4 cup milk
1/4 tea spoon saffron


For garnishing:


Sliced almond
Sliced pistachio
Cardamom seeds
Cardamom powder


Method to make Sooji no Halwo:
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add semolina in it. Roast it till light pink. 
  • Add hot milk in it and cook till milk absorb. Add sugar to it.
  • Let it dissolved. 
  • Garnish Sooji no Halwo with almond, pistachio, cumin seeds and cumin power.
Tips:
  • For naivedya make it from milk. In normal case you can use water in stead of milk.
  • This recipe can be made in microwave also.

This  religious festival is celebrated on astami of krishna paksh of shravan month according to the Hindu calender with great devotion and zeal. It is also known as Gokulashtami and Krishnaasthami.




Normally we are not having Biriyani in fasts. Here it's a recipe for farali biriyani which is a modified version of moraiya ni khichdi. Healthy and stomach feeling recipe for fast.

Preparation time - 10 minutes

Cooking time - 20 minutes
Serves - 4 persons

Ingredients to make Farali Biriyani:


1 cup moraiyo
1 tea spoon oil
1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds
1/2 table spoon crushed green chilly
Sindhav salt to taste
1/4 cup whipped curd
1 tea spoon sugar
1 table spoon roasted peanut - roughly crushed
1/4 tea spoon red chilly powder


1 medium potato - grated
1 tea spoon oil
1/4 tea spoon cumin seeds
Sindhav salt to taste
1/2 tea spoon red chilly powder
2 - 3 crushed green chilies
1 tea spoon lemon juice
1 tea spoon sugar
1 table spoon roughly crushed roasted peanuts


For garnishing:


Chopped coriander
roughly crushed masala peanut
farali chevdo


Method to make Farali Biriyani:

  • First of all heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and green chilies and grated potatoes. Add sindhav salt and let it cook covered. Stir occasionally.
  • When potatoes are cooked add lemon juice, red chilly powder, sugar and crushed peanuts.
  • Cook for 2 minutes and keep a side.
  • In other pan heat oil, add cumin seeds and then add green and red chilly. Add 2 cups of water and let it boil. Now add soaked moraiya to it.
  • Let it cook covered. When it is cooked add whipped curd and again cook for 2 minutes, after it add sugar and crushed peanuts.
  • Cook for some time and keep a side.
  • In a serving bowl make a layer of moraiya and spread it properly. Above it spread potato layer and repeat the process.
  • At last spread farali chivdo and garnish Farali Biriyani with coriander and crushed masala shing.
  • Serve hot with curd chutney.

Ingredients to make Curd Chutney:

1 cup curd
1 table spoon sugar
Sindhav salt to taste
Pinch of cumin powder

Method to make Curd Chutney:

  • Mix all the ingredients of Curd Chutney.
Tips:
  • Wash grated potatoes 3 - 4 times in tape water.
  • You may add lemon juice in stead of curd in moraiya.

Janmastami Special - Farali Dosa

This religious festival is celebrated on astami of krishna paksh of shravan month according to the Hindu calender with great devotion and zeal. It is also known as Gokulashtami and Krishnaasthami.


Dosa is a very well known south Indian recipe. Here it's a recipe of Farali Dosa. Normally it is a big head ache about the menu in fast. So, it's an honest try to make it easy. This recipe is very easy to make and good in taste.
Preparation time - 15 minutes
Cooking time 10 minutes
Serves - 4 persons

Ingredients to make Farali Dosa:

3 cups moraiya
1 cup sabudana - sago
1/2 cup curd
Sindhav salt to taste
Oil or butter for frying dosa
For masala:

250 gram boiled potatoes
1 tea spoon crushed green chilies
Sindhav salt to taste
1 tea spoon lemon juice
1 table spoon sugar
1 table spoon oil
1/2 tea spoon roasted cumin powder
8 to 10 curry leaves
1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds
1 table spoon chopped coriander

Ingredients to make Curd Chutney:

1 cup curd
1 table spoon sugar
Sindhav salt to taste
Pinch of cumin powder

Method to make Farali Dosa:

  • Soak moraiyo and sabudana in normal water for 3 to 4 hours. Crush them separately and mix together, now add curd and sindhav mix well. Keep for 3 - 4 hours at warm place.
  • After 3 -4 hours mix it properly. In a non stick tavi - griddle spread batter and add oil or butter over it. ( It will be slight thicker than normal dosa.)
  • Turn around and cook properly. Place masala over it and fold it. 
  • Repeat the process for the remaining.
  • Serve Farali Dosa with curd chutney. 
Method to make Masala:
  • Pour oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and curry leaves, add green chilly paste and potatoes ( chopped ). Now add salt, cumin powder, lemon juice and sugar. Mix well.
  • At last garnish with chopped coriander.
Method to make Curd Chutney:
  • Mix all the ingredients of Curd Chutney.
Tips:
  • You can also make Farali Uttapa from this batter.

Janmastami Special - Sabudana ni Khichdi

Recipe by Naiya Sheth: Learn how to make Sabudana Khichdi. Janmastami is the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna and is celebrated all over India. It is a celebration of eighth avtar of Lord Vishnu. This religious festival is celebrated on astami of krishna paksh of shravan month according to the Hindu calender with great devotion and zeal. It is also known as Gokulashtami and Krishnaasthami. Sabudana ni khichdi is very well known farali dish. Here it's an honest try to make it easy and quick. This recipe is full of starch.

Soaking time - 4 to 5 hours
Cooking time - 5 minutes
Serves - 4 persons

Ingredients to make Sabudana ni Khichdi: 


250 grams sabudana - sago 
(Washed and soaked for 4 - 5 hours.)
150 grams potatoes - boiled
1 table spoon powder sugar
2 table spoon oil
Salt to taste - sindhav salt
1 table spoon red chilly powder
1 table spoon lemon juice
1 - 2 green chilly crushed


For garnishing:


Pomegranate seeds
chopped coriander
Fried potato chips - Farali chevdo 
Roughly crushed masala peanuts


Method to make Sabudana ni Khichdi: 

  • Wash and soak sabudana for 4 to 5 hours in normal water.
  • Cook them on steam. Let it Luke warm at room temperature.
  • Cut potatoes and mix all the ingredients together. Mix properly.
  • Garnish it with Pomegranate seeds, chopped coriander, Fried potato chips - Farali chevdo, Roughly crushed masala peanuts.
  • Hot and tempting Sabudana ni Khichdi is ready to serve.
Tips:
  • If you are in hurry soak sabudana in Luke warm water. It will take 1 hour to soak. But stir occasionally on both the method.

This  religious festival is celebrated on astami of krishna paksh of shravan month according to the Hindu calender with great devotion and zeal. It is also known as Gokulashtami and Krishnaasthami.

Rajigra Halwo is made from rajigra flour and you can eat it in fast. It's a stomach feeling recipe for fasts. The most important thing of this recipe is that it is made in microwave oven, so very quick and easy to make and fast to eat.
Preparation time - 2 minutes
Cooking time - 5 minutes
Serves - 3 persons

Ingredients to make Rajigra halwo:

1/2 cup rajigra flour (coarse)
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup ghee
1/2 tea spoon cardamom powder
1 pinch saffron

For Garnishing:

Chopped almonds 
Chopped pistachio
cardamom seeds

Method to make Rajigra Halwo:

  • In a big microwave bowl mix ghee and rajigra flour. Cook for 1 minute at micro high. Stir and again cook for 1 minute at micro high. If you want more roasting cook for 1/2 minute more.
  • Add water and cook for 1 minute at micro med., now add sugar and again cook for 1 minute at micro med. Add saffron and cardamom powder and cook for 1 minute at micro med.
  • Rich Rajigra halwo is ready to serve, garnish with cardamom seeds, chopped almonds and chopped pistachio.
Tips:
  • You make this recipe on fire also. But in that case stir continually.
  • In case you are making on fire you will require more quantity of ghee.
  • Timing of cooking in microwave may different as different brand.

This  religious festival is celebrated on astami of krishna paksh of shravan month according to the Hindu calender with great devotion and zeal. It is also known as Gokulashtami and Krishnaasthami. Here there is a recipe of Milk Cake with the great of Lord Krishna. Which is made from milk, so can be taken during fast also. We call it ' DOODH NO HALWO' also.


Cooking time - 25 to 30 minutes

Ingredients to make Milk Cake:

500 ml. full fat milk
1/2 cup milk powder
1/4 cup ghee
1/2 cup - 2 table spoon sugar
1 pinch alum
1 tea spoon lemon juice


For garnishing:


Cardamom powder
Chopped or sliced almond
Saffron 

Method to make Milk Cake:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a non stick pan.
  2. Heat it on very slow flame for 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Stir continually.
  4. When it's color turns to light pink and ghee is separated the milk cake is ready. 
  5. Pour the mixture in a metal tin and allow to cool at room temperature. 
  6. When it is Luke warm Garnish with chopped almond and cardamom powder.
  7. You can UN mold the Milk Cake in another plat and serve after cutting in small pieces also.  
  8. Calcium rich Milk Cake is ready to serve.
Tips:
  • Sugar and ghee proportion can be changed as per the taste.
  • Always take non - stick vessel for making milk cake.

  • Crumble brownie and add cream and condensed milk in to it.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour it in a small serving bowl. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate chips and chocolate vermicelli.
  • Cool and chocolaty brownie pudding is ready to serve.
Tips:
  • If single fat cream is not available add half quantity of milk in full fat cream and mix properly.
  • Make sure brownie is not hot at the time of preparing brownie pudding, for safer side make brownie on a day before.
  • If you want to serve with ice cream avoid garnishing.
