This cool sandwich cake can be served for breakfast as well as desert also. So enjoy the different egg less cake recipe.
Preparation time - 10 minutes
Baking time - 25 minutes
Makes - 150 grams approx.
Ingredients to make Jam Sandwich Cake:
1/2 cup refined flour
1/2 tea spoon baking soda
1/4 tea spoon soda bi carb
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup powder sugar
1/4 tea spoon vanilla essence
3/4 to 1 cup mix fruit jam
Icing sugar for dusting

Method to make Jam Sandwich Cake:
- Beat jam and keep aside.
- Sift flour, baking powder and soda bi carb 2 to 3 times. Keep aside.
- Beat butter and sugar together properly. Now add 1/4 cup jam and vanilla essence to it and beat again.
- Add flour mixture to it and pour milk for dropping consistency.
- Pour the mixture in a greased and dusted cake tin.
- Bake for 25 minutes at 180`c temp. in preheated oven.
- When done remove from oven and let it cool at cooling rack.
- When cool divide the cake horizontally into 2 parts. Soak with plane water or sugar syrup. Apply jam over upper part of lower layer. And place the upper layer carefully over it.
- Dust with icing sugar.
- Yummy and different Jam Sandwich Cake is ready to serve.
Tips for Jam Sandwich Cake:
- Any flavor of jam can be used.
- Mixing of jam in the cake before baking can be avoided. It will maintain sugar.
